La Mariposa Wellness Center

Some of yall don’t know this about me, but aside from selling real estate among other services, I also work for Nueces Center for Mental Health & Intellectual Disabilities (MHID) where i supervise a wellness center called La Mariposa.

At this center we provide a variety of services that cater to our homeless population such as computers, laundry room, shower room, art room, group sessions that educate our clients on a variety of mental health topics, as well as a donation area (items are given to our clients free of charge).

Helping our homeless community has been such a humbling and rewarding experience.
